I love these photos… Everytime I look at them I can almost feel the air of Firenze (Florence). My Flickr is getting more nostalgic this week.

Here are some of photos I’ve uploaded in the last few days. They are from a trip to Paris. I had an amazing time there!

From architectural to casual photography, these galleries are definitely going to hold your attention. Enjoy.

I’m almost finished with my galleries from my trip to Belgium in February. I still got around 100 photos to sort, but it shouldn’t take more than a week to finish.

Travel photography is popular

My travel photography galleries at Flickr have never been so popular! This week I received requests from Schmap and Het PR Bureau, from the Netherlands. Schmap requested a photo of the beautiful Florence and Het asked some shots of the National Geographic Store in London. It is always a pleasure to see my work being recognized, specially from people from other corners of the world.

Italian textures

Some people think travel photography is all about landscapes, sunsets, rustic markets with colorful items or people in urban scenarios. Yeah, that’s all good; but what about the scents, the colors, the noise, the textures and materials that enclosure us when we are travelling?

Textures are perhaps the most ignored fact in travel photography, yet they hold some of the most important details of the ambient. I’ve recently been in Italy and I took hundreds of pictures of textures and materials – those that really reflect the place! I will start publishing them now and hopefully it will be done before my next trip.

Enjoy!
