I finished the base layout for Vulto’s new site today. For this project I had to create about 20 icons. I’m really tired of aqua, Mac OS and XP icons and their over hyped glossy styles.  All I wanted was something simple, colorful and effective, so I used the Adobe Creative Suite icon style as reference.

These are very minimal icons with good visualization. They are easy to customize. I’m sharing some icons with you, and I didn’t forget the original Photoshop file. Enjoy!

That’s all I could produce besides work this week. Nothing too fancy, but a good start. I started studying typography 1 or 2 years ago but never had enough time to practice with calm.

This is a good exercise and a great way to clear the mind.
