Here are some of photos I’ve uploaded in the last few days. They are from a trip to Paris. I had an amazing time there!

From architectural to casual photography, these galleries are definitely going to hold your attention. Enjoy.

Bitterballen

Croquettes, krokets or kroketten are very popular in the Netherlands. Bitterbal is a very similar dish, but smaller. I love the color and the textures on this photo.

I’m almost finished with my galleries from my trip to Belgium in February. I still got around 100 photos to sort, but it shouldn’t take more than a week to finish.

I’ve finished uploading some photos I took in many stores in Belgium, with a special selection of chocolates for a digital gustation. Enjoy!

Tintin figures

For over 80 years Hergé entertained entire generations with the wonderful Tintin comics. His clean and simple drawings even received their own designation: the ligne claire style.

I visited a Tintin shop in Belgium and was amazed by the variety of products and specially by the quality of the figures. Whoever did the sculptures, they’ve managed to recreate the cartoon style in all figures. They look like they came out of the books.

Travel photography is popular

My travel photography galleries at Flickr have never been so popular! This week I received requests from Schmap and Het PR Bureau, from the Netherlands. Schmap requested a photo of the beautiful Florence and Het asked some shots of the National Geographic Store in London. It is always a pleasure to see my work being recognized, specially from people from other corners of the world.

Flower power

Posted in Photography on April 9th, 2009 by Mario Troise – Be the first to comment

You don’t have to be a fan of flowers to notice the big potential they have as color references. Nature has always been incredibly inspired and flowers are at the top of the color chain. I made some quick pallets from flowers I can find at home and became impressed with the results.

You can find more flowers at Flickr and National Geographic. If I did these with common flowers imagine the beautiful pallets we can get from more exotic plants!
