To make a long story short, I started creating samples a couple of months ago and people loved them. I usually plan everything, but this time I decided to go with the flow. The company was founded with the goal of making beautiful utilities – mostly with paper.

Right after everything was confirmed we reserved a space at a gift fair. That gave me around 40 days to design all products, the sites, catalogs, business cards, banners, folders and so on. I really can’t believe how I did it, but in this period I designed over 50 products and set up the sites, e-mails and everything else! It was hectic, I got sick because of the work overload, I had to cancel other projects… But it was completely worth it!

Smuzi is now open! At the gift fair everybody was astounded by the products. The compliments gave us energy to continue our work and create more and more.

I’m working as an art director at Smuzi, a fresh new design brand that produces utilities and packaging.

I’ve been out last week working at a gift fair called Brazil Promotion. We released all the products and got in touch with many new clients.

I’m organizing the photos now and will upload them soon. I just need some time to relax.

We worked together for almost 8 months designing this yoyo called Vero.

This project was a lot of fun, but also one of the hardest projects I’ve ever directed. Vero is going to be released this month by Vulto.

For this project I had to create about 20 icons. I’m really tired of aqua, Mac OS and XP icons and their over hyped glossy styles.  All I wanted was something simple, colorful and effective, so I used the Adobe Creative Suite icon style as reference.

These are very minimal icons with good visualization. They are easy to customize. I’m sharing some icons with you, and I didn’t forget the original Photoshop file. Enjoy!

I’m dividing my time between my courses, work at Vulto and research for a new brand I’m creating. I’m also training a guy at work and hiring a new designer.

Just when I thought it would be impossible to find time for everything a journalist called me to schedule an interview. Then, some friends asked me to create a logo for a business course. How could I say no? 

I really don’t know how I did it, but I managed to meet the journalist in the morning, create the logo, work and study. I never have headaches, but today it was inevitable… Well, at least the logo looks fine!
