After I published my architecture illustrations here I received a lot of e-mails asking how I did those images. I prepared a tutorial for Smuzi to give you some tips about coloring sketches and adding effects. It’s pretty simple and very useful for architects and designers.

A good exercise is to carry a sketchbook with you until you fill it – or get tired of it. I got some magazine mock ups (they are blank magazines, like prototypes) and I’ve been using them as sketchbooks.

Magazine pages are terrible for pencil so I’m obliged to use only markers and pens. And I try to spend less than 5 minutes with each page. It’s a great way to practice.

Another project delivered! These are some designs I made for surf and snowboard companies. They wanted something raw and full of textures.
